Get Asked Often

What types of drills do you accept?
We accept HSS (High Speed Steel) drill bits: letter sizes A–Z and fractional twist drills up to 3/4". We do not currently sharpen carbide, cobalt, titanium-coated bits, or drills larger than 3/4".
How do I package my drills for shipping?
A padded envelope works for smaller drills. For larger batches or bigger drills, use a small USPS Priority Mail box. Wrap them in a rag or foam to prevent rattling. Label with your name and order number.
How long does the whole process take?
Typical round trip is 11–16 days: 2–3 days shipping to us, 7–10 business days to sharpen, 2–3 days shipping back. Standard turnaround is 7–10 business days from receipt to ship-back.
What if a drill is too far gone to sharpen?
If a drill is cracked, broken, or worn beyond recoverable material, we'll set it aside and notify you. You only pay for the drills we successfully resharpen.
Do you offer volume discounts?
Yes — contact us for orders over 100 drills. We work with tool cribs and production shops that send in large batches regularly and can offer custom pricing.
Is my payment secure?
All payments are processed by Stripe — the same payment infrastructure used by Amazon, Shopify, and millions of other businesses. We never see or store your card details.
When do I pay?
Payment is collected at the time of order (before you ship). If we cannot sharpen any of your drills, we issue a prorated refund immediately.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll receive email updates when we receive your drills, when they're sharpened, and when they ship back to you — with a tracking number.
